These singin’, swingin’ grandmas want to perform for you and sing the songs which span the last three generations. As proud members of the “baby boomer” generation, they share their favorites with audiences who enjoy show tunes, love songs, novelty songs, and songs in the stylings of other famous trios such as, the Andrew Sisters, The Supremes, The McGuire Sisters and many others. Each lady brings a uniqueness to the trio. Kathy Russell’s deep alto voice lends a touch of richness to their sound. Cheryl Rogers’ classically trained voice adds the soprano tones. Pat Groman’s clear, precise voice brings a folk-like quality to the sound and when the three voices blend together, their harmony is magical. Their Music Director and Keyboardist, Bob Russell, is an extraordinary musician. He not only directs and plays the keyboard, but Bob is also the sole arranger for the group. Since all their arrangements are originals this further adds to the uniqueness of this amazing trio. The Mood Swingers have entertained for private parties, country clubs, retirement homes, and have performed a full length variety show at community theaters.
